Since first opening its' doors in early 1998, Metro Grill has been a welcome addition to Richmond's Fan District, not only for offering a variety of fresh American Regional fare, but also for being a place that provides even its newest customers with a feeling of comfort and familiarity.  Given that Metro was, in large part, built by and with the help of friends, it is unsuprising that this sense of ease is what distinquishes Metro Grill. 

Upon acquiring Metro Grill, Proprietor Bob Cox decided that Metro's interior needed a warmer, more personal and updated look, and the renovations began.  From the floors to the construction of the bar and booths--even the design of the restaurant's logo--Metro Grill was built by and large through the energy, hard work, and expertise of friends, many of whom were part of Metro's opening staff.  

For over a decade, this familiar and friendly atmosphere, coupled with an appetizing assortment of homemade menu selections, has proven a successful combination for the restaurant.  Whether a loyal follower from Metro's  'early years' on Robinson Street or someone new to Richmond, Metro Grill has a timeless appeal that will keep you coming back.
